While the world, correctly focuses on the wildfires in Brazil’s portion of the Amazon, Bolivia reports it has lost 4.2 million acres to wildfires. Last Friday under the leadership of Colombia, Amazonian countries will meet to agree upon an approach to fight the fires in the Amazon.
Led by Colombia’s President Duque, credit to the leadership of Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Suriname for agreeing to a pact and its implementation to create a natural disaster network so they can coordinate responses to large scale environmental disasters, as well as reforestation projects. #GlobalClimateCrisis
